server (get / set / status / reset)
The agentsecrets server command group manages the target backend server endpoint. By default, AgentSecrets connects to the official default AgentSecrets Server (https://secrets-api-orpin.vercel.app/api). You can point your CLI to an open-source self-hosted instance either globally or per-project.
agentsecrets server get
agentsecrets server get
Displays the active server URL, configuration source (CLI flag, environment variable, project config, global config, or default server), and whether the endpoint is the default server or a self-hosted instance.
Aliases: agentsecrets server show, agentsecrets server
agentsecrets server set
# Set globally for all projects (~/.agentsecrets/config.json) agentsecrets server set http://localhost:8000 # Set for the current repository only (.agentsecrets/project.json) agentsecrets server set https://api.agentsecrets.yourcompany.com --project # Skip pre-flight connectivity verification agentsecrets server set http://localhost:8000 --force
Normalizes the server URL (ensuring valid HTTP/HTTPS schemes and standard /api paths), verifies endpoint connectivity, and saves the configuration.
agentsecrets server status
agentsecrets server status
Performs a live connectivity and latency probe against the active server endpoint and reports connection status (ONLINE vs UNREACHABLE) and ping duration in milliseconds.
agentsecrets server reset
# Reset global server endpoint agentsecrets server reset # Reset project-specific override agentsecrets server reset --project
Clears custom server URL overrides and restores the target endpoint back to the default AgentSecrets Server.
