Stripe Integration

Integrating Stripe with AgentSecrets ensures your secret API keys remain protected from LLM prompts, logs, and process memory.


1Store your Stripe Key (Auto Local + Cloud Sync)

Save your Stripe secret key to the OS Keychain:

agentsecrets secrets set STRIPE_SECRET_KEY=sk_test_51ABC...

This automatically stores the key locally in your OS Keychain and synchronizes the encrypted ciphertext to your cloud workspace.


2Allowlist the Stripe API Domain

Authorize the Stripe API in your workspace allowlist:

agentsecrets workspace allowlist add api.stripe.com

3Using the Official Stripe Python SDK

You can use the official stripe package directly with Transparent HTTP Client Interception:

How this works:

  • init() hooks into the underlying HTTP transport library.
  • When Stripe sends a request, the interceptor replaces the placeholder, routes the call to the local proxy, and resolves the real key from keychain-auth directly into the outbound TLS connection to api.stripe.com.
  • Upstream response headers and bodies are scanned and redacted before returning.

Alternative: Direct Proxy Calls with AgentSecrets SDK

If you are calling Stripe endpoints directly over HTTP without vendor libraries:
